Day 1. Arrival

Arrival. Meet in the airport and transfer to the centrally located hotel in Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Hotel

Day 2. Tbilisi city tour

Visit old part of the town. Metekhi church - take a cable car to the Narikala fortress - Botanical garden - Leghvtakhevi waterfall - Abanotubani (Suphur bath district) - Maidan square - Sharden street -Great Synagogue of Tbilisi - Statue of Tamada - Konka (old tram of Tbilisi) - Caravanserais - Sioni cathedral where we will see St. Nino's original vine cross - Erekle II street - Bridge of Peace - Rike park -Anchiskhati - oldest church of Tbilisi - Gabriadze theater - Statue of Berikaoba - Freedom square and Rustaveli avenue - the main artery of Tbilisi. Day 3. Tbilisi - Bodbe nunnery - Sighnaghi - Chumlaki - Tsinandali - Telavi

Tbilisi - Bodbe nunnery - Sighnaghi - optional wine tasting - Chumlaki - lunch in a local family with a Georgian folk music performed by the hosts - Tsinandali palace - Telavi. Overnight in Telavi. Wine Chateau (BLW)

Day 4. Telavi - Ikalto - Alaverdi - Zemo Alvani - Natural winery-Gombori pass - Tbilisi

Telavi - Ikalto architectural complex - Alaverdi cathedral - Zemo Alvani - Lunch and wine tasting at a natural winery - Gombori pass -Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Hotel (BLW)

Day 5. Tbilisi - Jvari monastery - Ananuri - Gergeti church -Stepantsminda

Tbilisi - Jvari monastery (UNESCO 6th century monument) - Ananuri architectural complex - Stepantsminda - Gergeti church - enjoy the views of the 3rd highest peak of Georgia mount Kazbeg 5054m -Overnight in Stepantsminda. Hotel (BD)

Day 6. Stepantsminda - Tsedisi - Natural winery - Uplistsikhe - Ateni

Stepantsminda - Tseidisi - lunch and wine tasting at a natural winery -Uplistsikhe rock hewn town from the 7th century BC - Ateni Sioni church - Overnight in Ateni. Guesthouse (BLDW)

Day 7. Ateni - Borjomi park - Khertvisi - Vardzia

Ateni - Borjomi - walk in the central park of Borjomi - optional swim in the thermal pools - lunch in a local restaurant - Khertvisi fortress -Vardzia - explore the medieval cave town - Overnight in Vardzia. Guesthouse (BDW)

Day 8. Vardzia - Mtskheta - Tbilisi

Vardzia - Mtskheta - Svetitskhoveli cathedral (UNESCO 11th century monument) - Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Hotel (B)

Day 9. Airport transfer

Transfer from the hotel to the international airport of Tbilisi (B).
