Day 1. Tbilisi - Jvari monastery - Uplistsikhe - Ubisa monastery -Gelati monastery - Tskaltubo

Tbilisi - 30-min drive to Jvari monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - next stop is after 1-hour drive, and it's Gori the birthplace of Joseph Stalin - optional visit to the house museum of Stalinism - 20-min drive to Uplistsikhe rock hewn town dating from the 7th century BC - lunch at a local café or an optional visit to a local natural winery for a lunch and wine tasting - drive to Ubisa church - stop for a local pottery market - visit Gelati monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - 30 m min drive to Tskaltubo. Overnight in Tskaltubo hotel (B)

Day 2. Tskaltubo - Martvili canyon - Enguri Dam - Mestia

Leave Tskaltubo and drive1 hour to Martvili canyon - after you explore the canyon visit a local organic winery and have lunch and wine tasting - drive to Svaneti region - stop to see Enguri Dam (272 m) - photo stops on the way to Mestia - visit Svanetian Tower and a dwelling from 12th - 14th centuries. Overnight in Mestia. Guesthouse (BLDW)

Day 3. Mestia - Ushguli - Shkhara glacier - Mestia

Mestia - 1.5-hour drive to Ushguli - visit Svanetian towers (UNESCO World Heritage Site)  - visit Lamaria monastery from 9th century -lunch ata local café - walk to the foot of the highest peak of Georgia mount Shkhara (5058 m) - drive back to Mestia. Overnight in Mestia. Guesthouse (BD)

Day 4. Mestia - Prometheus cave - Svetitskhoveli cathedral - Tbilisi

Mestia - 4 hours drive to Prometheus cave - after you explore the cave drive 4 hours to Mtskheta - visit Svetitskhoveli cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - some free time for Souvenir shopping - 30-min drive to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi (B)
