Visit small natural wineries in four regions during this tour. Interact with winemakers, learn about the unique techniques used in their wine cellars and vineyards, and of course taste the best and rare Georgian wines paired with traditional dishes.  Explore UNESCO World Heritage sites on the way and visit families still making Kvevri - a traditional, 8000 years old Georgian vessel for wine.

Day 1. Arrival

Meet in the airport and transfer to a hotel in the old part of Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Driving time 30 min

Day 2. Kakheti region wines

Tbilisi - Badiauri -stop for the local bread bakery and see how Georgian traditional  bread is baked - Sighnaghi - wine tasting at a natural winery-walk on the historical wall of Sighnaghi to enjoy the views of Alazani valley and Great Caucasus mountains-drive to Chumlaki - lunch and wine tasting and Georgian live folk music at a family run wine cellar - Gurjaani Kvelatsminda church - Tsinandali palace - Telavi - Overnight in Telavi. Driving time 4 hours.

Day 3. Kakheti region wines

Telavi - Vardisubani - visit to a Kvevri workshop - Rusipiri - wine tasting at a biodynamic winery - Alaverdi monastery - Saniore - wine tasting at a family run natural winery - Zemo Alvani - lunch and wine tasting at a family run natural winery-optional cooking class-Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Driving time 3 hours

Day 4. Kartli region wines

Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Jvari monastery - Svetitskhoveli cathedral-drive to Cahrdakhi - wine and chacha (Georgian version of Grappa)tasting at a family run natural winery - lunch - Gori - wine tasting in Khidistavi at a family run natural winery - Uplistsikhe cave town where guests will see one of the oldest wine presses curved in the rock -Ateni wine tasting and dinner in Ateni at a family run natural winery guesthouse - Overnight in Ateni. Driving time: 2 hours.

Day 5. Imereti region wines

Ateni - Ubisa monastery - Kvaliti-wine tasting and lunch in Kvaliti at a family run wine cellar - lunch - Baghdati -wine tasting at a family run wine cellar - Obcha - wine tasting in Obcha at a family run wine cellar - kutaisi. Overnight in Kutaisi. Driving time:  3h. 20 min

Day 6. Samegrelo region wines

Kutaisi-Gelati monastery where guests will see medieval wine cellar-drive to Martvili - visit Martvili canyon-after sail in the canyon visit Oda family natural winery and have lunch and wine tasting - optional cooking class - Shrosha pottery market - Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Driving time: 6 hours

Day 7. Tbilisi wine bars & restaurants

Tbilisi city tour and visits to the 3 best wine bars in Tbilisi. Wine tastings and lunch.  Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8. Departure

Transfer to the airport of Tbilisi. Driving time: 30 min
