Horseback Riding Tour in Tusheti 8 Days

Tusheti is the most beautiful and remote national park of Georgia. Located high in the Caucasus Mountains it is only accessible from early June until the mid of October. We offer equestrian tour to this  wonderful part of Georgia. We organize all the logistics, horses and horseman, meals and accommodation.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1. Meet at the international airport of Tbilisi and transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi(B).

Day 2. Tbilisi - Omalo. Driving time 6 hours

In the  morning we drive from Tbilisi to Omalo, taking drive on the highest car road in Georgia - Abano Pass 2950 m. Picnic lunch. We have stunning views on the way.  Arrive at Omalo. Overnight in a family run guesthouse.(BLD)

Day 3. Today we start riding: Omalo - kumelaurta - Oreti Lake - Picnic lunch - Omalo.  This is a first day of the ride, so we do around 15 km in total. Guesthouse(BLD)

Day 4. Omalo - Shenako - Diklo - Picnic lunch - Chigho-Dartlo. Total riding distance 35 km. Guesthouse (BLD)

Day 5. Chesho - Farsma-Nakaito - Picnic lunch - Gometsari - Jvarboseli. Total riding distance 30 km. Guesthouse(BLD)

Day 6. Verkhovani - Gometsari - Dochu - Picnic lunch - Bochorna - Omalo. Total riding distance 26 km.  Guesthouse(BLD)

Day 7. Omalo - Tbilisi. Driving time 6 hours

In the morning, we drive from Omalo back to Tbilisi. Overnight in the Hotel (BL).

Day  8. Hotel - Transfer to the international airport of Tbilisi. Departure (B)

Tourists will ride horses of local breed that are well adapted to local conditions and riding in the mountains, on the ascents and descents. The horses are equipped with Georgian saddles and bridles. We provide riding helmets.
