Vashlovani National Park is a wild and remote area of eastern Georgia, known for its unique badlands, sharp cliffs and abundant wildlife. This national park is one of the best for horse riding. The name Vashlovani comes from the Georgian word for apple trees, and it refers to the many fruit and pistachio trees that make the landscape feel like a vast, wild orchard. The park was established in 1935 to protect the unique shallow forest ecosystem.

We offer an exclusive equestrian trip in this beautiful park of Georgia. We organize all the logistics, horses and horseman, meals and accommodation.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1. Meet at the airport of Tbilisi and transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi. (B)

Day 2. Drive from Tbilisi to Vashlovani National Park(2:30 hour drive). In Dedoplitskaro we go through registration procedures (20 minutes) to reach village kasristskali. Lunch picnic in a local farm. After lunch, we start riding: Kasritskali - Shavi Mta. Total riding distance 20 km. Dinner. Overnight in tents.  (BLD)

Day 3. Shavi Mta - Takhistskali - picnic lunch - Sartliskure - Mijniskure. Total riding distance 22km. Dinner.  Overnight  in tents. (BLD)

Day 4. Mijniskure - Devebis Gadmosakhedi - picnic lunch - Central rangers huts. Total riding distance 24km. Dinner. Overnight in  tents. (BLD)

Day 5. Central ranger huts - Ole - Kasristkali. Picnic lunch. Drive to Tbilisi (2:30 hour drive). Accommodation in the hotel in Tbilisi (BL).

Day 6. Hotel - Transfer to the airport of Tbilisi (B).

End of the trip

The tourists will ride horses of local breed that are well adapted to local conditions and riding in the mountains, on ascents and descents. The horses are equipped with Georgian saddles and bridles. We provide riding helmets. 

*Please note that it is necessary to check in  at the Visitors center before visiting the national park. Please have an identity card/passport with you.
