Tour itinerary:

Day 1.  Arrival 

Meet in the airport and transfer to a hotel in the old part of Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Hotel(B)

Day 2.  Tbilisi city tour

Visit old part of the town and start the tour with a visit to Metekhi church from the 13th century from where we have a panoramic view of the old city where we have an introduction of its history - next we take the cable car to the Narikala fortress - one of the oldest building of Tbilisi - visit Botanical garden - Juma Mosque - Leghvtakhevi waterfall - Abanotubani (Suphur bath district) - Maidan square - Sharden street-Great Synagogue of Tbilisi - Statue of Tamada - Konka (old tram of Tbilisi) - Caravanserais - Sioni cathedral where we will see St. Nino's original vine cross-Erekle II street-Bridge of Peace - Rike park -Anchiskhati - oldest church of Tbilisi - Gabriadze theatre and a tower - Statue of Berikaoba - Freedom square and Rustaveli avenue-the main artery of Tbilisi-Overnight in Tbilisi. Day 3. Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Ananuri - Zhinvali - Gudauri - Gergeti church - mount Kazbeg - Stepantsminda

Tbilisi - drive to Jvari monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site) from the 6th century explore the complex and enjoy the views of Mtskheta - 3000 years old town and former capital of Georgia where Christianity was declared as an official religion of Georgia in the 4th century - drive to Mtskheta to visit Svetitskhoveli cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - the most important religious center of Georgia from the Middle Ages - drive to Ananuri to explore its medieval architectural ensemble and enjoy the views of Zhinvali water reservoir - drive to Gudauri - optional paragliding-drive to Khevi region and to the village Gergeti - walk(4 km total) to the Holy Trinity Church of Gergeti dating from the 14th century - enjoy the views of the 3rd highest peak of Georgia mount Kazbeg 5054 m - drive to Stepantsminda - Dinner. Day 4. Stepantsminda - Juta - Chaukhi lake hike - Gveleti waterfall-  Khinkali cooking class

Stepantsminda - drive to Juta - hike (8 km total) from Juta to Chaukhi lake - walk back and have lunch at a local café - drive to the Dariali gorge - walk(3 km total) to the Gveleti waterfall - drive back to Stepantsminda - cooking masterclass to learn how to cook traditional Georgian dumpling Khinkali - Dinner. Day 5. Stepantsminda-Pasanauri - Rafting - Tsedisi - Organic winery - Uplistsikhe rock hewn town - Ateni winery & guesthouse

Stepantsminda - drive to Pasanauri - optional rafting on Aragvi river (level 2-3) - drive to Kartli region-lunch and wine tasting at a natural winery in Tsedisi - drive to Uplistsikhe to explore the rock hewn town from the 7th century BC - drive to Ateni - enjoy dinner and local natural wine. Day 6. Ateni - Ubisa monastery - Gelati architectural complex -Prometheus cave - Tskaltubo - Bicycle ride - Family winery

Ateni - drive to Imereti region - visit Ubisa monastery and explore its unique murals from the 14th century - drive to Gelati architectural complex from the 12th century UNESCO World Heritage Site and explore the complex - drive to Prometheus cave - walk 1 hour to explore the cave - drive to Tskaltubo - optional bicycle ride in the park - visit a family winery and enjoy dinner with local Imeretian dishes and wine - Overnight in Tskaltubo. Day 7. Tskaltubo - Martvili canyon - Kaghu waterfall - Natural winery - Enguri dam - Mestia - Machubi and Svanetian tower

Tskaltubo - drive to Martvili canyon - explore the canyon - drive to Kaghu waterfall - drive back to Martvili  for lunch and wine tasting at an organic winery with local Megrelian dishes and wine - drive to Mestia - Enguri dam - photo stops on the way - visit traditional Svanetian tower and a dwelling Machubi from the Middle Ages -Dinner. Day 8. Mestia - Ushguli - Lamaria monastery - Mount Shkhara Glacier hike - Museum of Mestia - Svanetian Folk show

Day 9. Mestia - Zugdidi - Paliastomi lake sale - Batumi botaniocal garden - Batumi - The Black Sea beach

Mestia - Zugdidi - optional visit to Dadiani palace - lunch in a local café - drive to Paliastomi lake - sale in the lake - drive to Batumi botanical garden - walk 3 km in the botanical garden - drive to Batumi. Free evening in Batumi. Overnight in Batumi. Hotel (B)

Day 10. Batumi - Mtirala park hike - Pottery market - Borjomi park hike

Start a day with a walk in Batumi's boulevard - drive to Mtirala park -hike 7 km in the park - drive to Borjomi - stop for a pottery market in Shrosha - Borjomi park - walk (6 km total) in the park of Borjomi -optional swim in the thermal pools - Borjomi. Overnight in Borjomi. Hotel (B)

Day 11. Borjomi - Akhaltsikhe - Organic winery - Khertvisi fortress -Vardzia cave complex - Upper Vardzia Nunnery

Borjomi - drive to Akhaltsikhe - visit a local organic winery and have a wine tasting - drive to Khertvisi fortress dating from the 2nd century BC - walk on the swinging bridge and enjoy the views of the fortress -drive to Vardzia - lunch at a local café - walk and explore Vardzia cave complex from the 12th century and its unique frescoes - drive to Upper Vardzia nunnery dating from the 10th century - stay at a local farmer's a guesthouse and enjoy dinner with a locally produced food and wine. Day 12. Vardzia - Rabati castle - Rafting - Horseriding - Tbilisi

Vardzia - drive to Rabati castle - explore Rabati complex and its museum - drive to Chitakhevi - optional rafting on Mtkvari river (level 3-4) - optional horse riding in Borjomi national park-drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. Hotel(B)

Day 13. Tbilisi - Qedeli - Horse riding - Beer brewery - Bodbe nunnery - Sighnaghi - Natural winery - Tsinandali palace

Tbilisi - Badiauri - stop for the bread bakery to see how Georgian traditional bread Shoti is baked in oven called  ''Tone'' and try cheese and bread - drive to village Kedeli - optional horse riding - visit a beer brewery and taste different types of locally brewed beer - visit Bodbe Nunnery - drive to Sighnaghi - wine tasting and delicious lunch at the natural winery - walk and explore Sighnaghi and its historical wall - enjoy the views of Alazani valley and the Great Caucasus Mountains - drive to Tsinandali palace and explore it - drive to Kisiskhevi.
